About us & Chalet Apartment Mountain Dream

In October 2022 we were able to fulfill our dream of a FAMILY RETREAT in the beautiful Swiss Alps. We got the opportunity to completely remodel a luxurious chalet apartment in the more than 100-year-old art nouveau hotel Alpine Inn. We put great importance to the fact that our second family residence, in the middle of the skiing area Davos-Klosters, reflects the original mountain world. Therefore, wall panels with sunburnt old wood, and a rustic floor with oak parquet and natural stone dominate. Of course, a fireplace, the private sauna in the master bath or for family celebrations a large old wooden table for up to 10 people cannot be missing.

 

For us Bodenmann's, however, the culinary arts are just as important as our beloved sport. That is why we have installed many extras in our large modern kitchen: food center with ice machine, oven and separate steamer, induction stove with separate Teppanyaki, original Beefer for perfect steaks or a glassed two-zone wine cabinet for 30 wine bottles. The excellent Bündnerfleisch (dried meat) we cut on our original Berkel-Tribute slicing machine – a masterpiece from the world-renowned manufactory Berkel.

 

After a good meal, a good whisky stands in order, which we keep in the specially illuminated bar. What could be better than enjoying a good whisky or cognac in front of the fireplace in the comfortable Baxter rocking chairs or on the sofa? When we feel like watching a good movie or listening to music, we turn on our big Bang & Olufsen TV/HiFi system and enjoy the excellent picture & sound quality.

 

Whoever has experienced the fantastic and unique view from our bow window or large balcony into the Dischma valley and over Davos, knows why we decided to make this big investment - nothing beats location! With the bus station directly in front of our building, we are 5 minutes from the valley station Parsenn or Jakobshorn and a few minutes later we carve with our skis the first curves in the perfectly prepared ski slopes.

 

We have decided to rent out our family retreat in the mountains selectively and only for a few weeks per year. So you are not renting just any nice luxury apartment in Davos, but our personally furnished and extremely luxurious private chalet apartment - ALPINE STYLE PURE AT ITS BEST !
